Besides a terrific article and review of GLADYS AND CAPONE, reporter/editor Dean Gray compiled 6 pages of 1920s photos and text about Gladys Walton's silent film career. Lists all her movies & Broadway shows, including Gladys Walton tobacco trading cards, glamor shots popular in France, never before seen plot descriptions and pictures from one of her New York films, "The Sky Raider."
Plus a review of two Gladys Walton films by poet laureate, Carl Sandburg! By 1920 Sandburg had won his first Pulitzer Prize for poetry, but who knew he did movie reviews for the Chicago Daily News? I guess even great writers have to pay the bills.

REVIEW: Posted
at Two Lips Review
Hot Water is a gloriously poetic
novel that begins in the style of Contemporary Chick Lit but
rapidly branches out into philosophy and metaphysics, and
into allegory and metaphor. Hot Water truly has the capacity
to melt the most jaded, cynical, ice-block heart. Hot Water
is a glorious precious gem of a story, one which transforms
ugly routine reality into a faceted diamond catching the light.
No reader, male nor female, is going to resist this one; it
fully deserves best-seller status. Read
